Through Skylar Projects, Angelina has collaborated with numerous Toronto boutique hotels, restaurants and food and beverage brands. Most recently she spearheaded vendor relations and menu design at TIFF Bell Lightbox Varda Cafe. Angelina, a proud first-generation Canadian of Jamaican heritage has a passion for the world of food and beverage that extends far beyond glamorous dining rooms. As granddaughter of a farmer from the Blue Mountains (Upper St. Andrew), it is natural that she would venture into agriculture later in her career.
With a community-centric ethos, Angelina’s extensive involvement in Toronto spans two decades, championing visibility and access for marginalized communities through partnerships with organizations like the Drake Black Community Council, Women In Crypto, How She Hustles, and others, including her role as Chair of the Harry Jerome Awards with the Black Business & Professionals Association.
